DELFOR

Most automotive companies use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to send supply chain transactions to their suppliers. Many OEMs issue blanket purchase orders and then send a steady flow of 830 and 862 EDI transactions to update their suppliers. These transactions communicate quantities and dates to be released for shipment, as well as longer term forecast information. The Synesis Automotive Release System enables automotive suppliers to easily manage their requirements and integrate order releases to their ERP system.

Managing releases is a challenge for most automotive firms. OEMs send EDI transmissions at different stages of release, some for immediate shipment, others for production or purchase planning, and some for long-term forecasts. Synesis Automotive Release System bridges the gap between the 830/862 receipt and the automotive supplier’s specific need for each release line.
