Our Customers

We are proud to present a representative list of some of our recent projects:

  • For an international pharmaceutical producer, we developed the conceptual and detail design for a 13,500 pallet ASRS warehousing facility for raw materials, packaging components, WIP, and Finished Goods. The system is fully automated, with literal lights-out in the ASRS area. Design included ancillary areas for battery charging transport vehicles, pallet washing, and automated handling of dispensed materials, and packaging kitting.
  • For a BMW supplier, we implemented and support their completely integrated information system (ERP, Barcoding/RF, SPC, EDI, Maintenance Management, Calibration/Gauges, Document Management, Real Time Material Tracking, Lot Tracing/Serialization, Networking, Human Resources, Financials, etc.).
  • For a yarn manufacturer, we provided project management, training, and implementation services for the MAPICS ERP system.  The MAPICS system is an integrated financial, manufacturing, and customer service system which is configured to support a multi-company, multi-plant environment.  This client is implementing MAPICS at its corporate location and several manufacturing facilities.
  • For a manufacturer of narrow fabrics, we provided fast-track implementation services to implement the client-server MAPICS ERP system and ABRA HR/Payroll for multiple facilities.  We also provided network configuration, custom inspection system, and barcode based transaction processing.
  • For a textile business, we provided complete systems reengineering and implementation of client-server integrated manufacturing, financials, and customer service system.  The system include MAPICS ERP, Wonderware InTrack (to tie to automated process equipment), finite scheduling, RF/barcode transactions, and maintenance management systems.
  • For a national pharmaceutical manufacturer, Synesis developed the warehousing conceptual design for a five year manufacturing expansion/conversion. This included revisions to existing warehouse space for conversion to sampling and packaging operations. Analyzed and developed a WIP processing system.
  • For a power tool manufacturer, we developed a data-driven simulation of a complex assembly process to determine the effect of transitioning to a focused factory environment.
  • For a Ford and Chrysler supplier of injected molded body and trim parts, we supported various Industrial and Systems Engineering efforts including production line design to support model year changes; robotics system design, vendor management and start-up, facility layout; methods/procedures; labor standards; warehouse design; and the installation of a plant-wide Novell network.  Our efforts span multiple facilities.
  • For a steel products manufacturer, we provided analysis of required features and functionality for a new ERP system.  We then compared the requirements against alternative software options to determine the best fit integrated manufacturing systems solution for their needs.
  • For an aerospace client, we managed the implementation of their ERP system.
  • For a public utility company, we provided custom software including Internet-based customer service, work order tracking, and tool management systems.  In addition, we developed simulation models to assess and improve work crew workflow and railcar maintenance.
  • For a medical device manufacturer, we provided an operations intelligence system to manage manufacturing operations information for critical quality, productivity, and reliability metrics.
  • For an Asian nutritional products producer, Synesis developed the detail design for a 14,000 pallet Very Narrow Aisle manufacturing and Finished Goods storage facility. Goods were stored to 500 inches to the bottom of the loads.
  • For various pharmaceutical producers, Synesis has prepared numerous manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, packaging, and expansion feasibility studies and estimates. In some instances, computer simulation was used to validate the design.
  • For automotive and retail customers, Synesis has provided EDI with release management, sequence systems, and EDI transaction tracking integrated to various ERP systems.
  • For a multi-plant fibers manufacturer, Synesis managed the planning and selection of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as part of their Quality Improvement Initiative.
